ABOUT

I am a highly creative design director with strong grasp of the contemporary womenswear and menswear market with the experience and ability to translate ideas from concept through all phases of development to production.

I am a clothing designer born and raised in Southern California. After high school I moved to northern California to go to San Francisco State University. I spent a year abroad in Barcelona, Spain and came back to graduate cum laude in Industrial Arts with an emphasis in apparel and textile design. I started my career in the clothing industry as an intern at Levi’s. I stayed on after the summer and worked my last year of school three-quarter time. After graduation, I was hired at Levi’s and after a year, I went to work for the Asia Pacific Division in Tokyo, Japan for a year and a half. After a year being back in California, I was hired by Earl Jean and moved back to Southern California. My experience is based in contemporary brands, in all categories of product and for both men’s and women’s. My passion is in designing, developing, and delivering amazing product. I love honing in on the details so that there is a reason for every piece to be in the line and a reason to buy it and wear it. I have a keen eye for design in all forms. I am influenced by design, art, fashion, architecture, music and the visual language that results when they combine. My experience is in the fields of fashion, lifestyle and interior design having worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry as well as small independent labels. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with other creative thinkers.
